DescriptionSIRMIONE: along the peninsula, near the old town, penthouse on the first floor and a mansard with a wide terrace characterized by a wonderful lake's view. It' s part of an elegant residence composed by three-roomed flats, penthouses and villas, wide gardens and two swimming pools.
The attic has a big living room with large windows, from which you have a wonderful lake' s view, a big kitchen, a big bathroom and a large double room. A stair leads to the wide mansard composed by two double rooms, a second bathroom and a balcony. Double garage on the basement.
Sirmione doesn't need any further presentation: it' s a small treasure in the low lake Garda.
The town is bounded by Peschiera del Garda to the South-East and by Desenzano del Garda to the South-West. The part on the lake borders Lazise and Castelnuovo del Garda on the East and Padenghe sul Garda on the North.
The old town is on the northern extremity of a tight and 4 km long peninsula, that divides in two parts the southern lake' s shore, and takes also shape of an island, because it has been isolated from the peninsula by a navigable moat, that can be crossed over only through a bridge.
Nowadays it keeps a medieval urban structure, with narrow and irregular streets. From the '70 architectural interventions have been made on the external walls of the buildings, in order to give back their more ancient aspect, with bricks and stones on sight.
It' s a restricted traffic area, a real heaven for pedestrians.
